This seagull was photographed at the port town of Akaroa, to the east of Christchurch in New Zealand. From a distance it looked as if it was swooping down and drinking sea water. Whatever it was up to, it was enough to capture my interest as an unusual photograph that I wanted more time to look at and consider.
